Your Definitive Guide to the new Kia EV3 Electric Car Lease

The new Kia EV3 Electric Car Lease - Your definitive guide

The momentum on EVs changes from day to day. Depending on the Media outlet, news provider or car review website, the UK’s current and prospective buyers are hit with story after story.

Some are great. Others less so. But it appears that positivity and confidence is in the air for May 2024, with some good news for the UK and its electric vehicle ambition. One of the major changes to mention this month is the latest Automated Vehicles Act which is set to make automation of our vehicles legal by 2026.

Kia EV3 Electric Car Lease Information

Electric cars and autonomous self-driving are interlinked concepts, with Tesla being one of the first to introduce a full-self driving capability onto their cars. With autosteer on the motorways / cities and traffic light stop / start, plus automatic parking, the idea is that we place more faith in our EVs to drive for us in a more safe and secure manner.

However, the UK has been somewhat restrictive on what a driver can do, or cannot do, rendering many autonomous driving faculties redundant. But in the new AV act, it has been recognised that the safety features are designed to increase driver, passenger and pedestrian safety, with vehicles able to make more competent decisions than the human counterparts. The AV Act is also aimed at increasing investment into related technologies and job creation in this sector. And for the concerned among you, the notion of responsibility will be addressed with the confirmation below:

“drivers can be assured that, while their vehicle is in self-driving mode, they will not be held responsible for how the vehicle drives. For the first time, corporations such as insurance providers, software developers and automotive manufacturers can assume this responsibility.”

Unleashing the potential of our electric vehicles is key to their success and value to the UK drivers. This means Governmental support for initiatives which improve driving experience and encourage more personal and business leasing customers into greener and cleaner technologies.

Confidence and education is more key to this fuel-type conundrum than perhaps has been historically recognised, especially for consumers in the new and used EV market. Knowing that their vehicle can not only enhance their safety, and that of their families, along with the convenience of these safety features does lend yet another reason as to why you should be going electric with your next car or van.

And in further good news, the South Korean manufacturer Kia announced that further vehicles will be coming to the UK. Having already launched successful campaigns on their Niro EV, EV6 and EV9, the brand will be launching “a moving power” for UK customers to order from September 2024.

This is in addition to the new EV2 which is due to launch in 2026. This new compact SUV is focused on practicality, with the design set to create the feeling of open and spacious interiors. Sliding table consoles and practical/flexible interiors (like the console storage area) are aimed to maximise the space in what is not an overly-big crossover. And with one of the best drag coefficients around, the aerodynamics on this new option have not been missed by the engineering team at Kia.

Some of the key features include the ultra-wide Panorama Display with Harman Kardon Sound, 30” screen, Premium Streaming (OTT) for Netflix and YouTube and the HUD. The EV3 will feature the AI Assistant, which is aimed to make driver experience in the vehicle, navigation, entertainment and mobility more seamless via the ChatGOT assistant.

As noted above in the AV Act, manufacturers are aiming to bring more seamless and convenient technology into our vehicles for everyday use (and legally!).

But how will the new Kia EV3 perform - is it a good EV?
