Lease a Citroen e-C3 Electric in the UK

The Stellantis Group are now a major influencer in the UK’s electric car and van market. With brands like Alfa Romeo, DS, Fiat, Peugeot and Vauxhall in the umbrella, it’s not surprising that they are making such impact. And with Citroen, the brand has a real opportunity to bring cost-effective and affordable EV solutions to the leasing market.

With existing battery vehicles like the Berlingo, Space Tourer and C4 (and C4 X), the French manufacturer are now bringing a smaller and cheaper solution to the market in the form of the Ë-C3.

“Compact. Affordable” says the Citroen website. The new all-electric C3 is a 4th generation battery format of an already popular model. For customers looking at the Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa and VW Polo, the C3 was the go-to model to utilise if value and practicality was high on the agenda. Not much changes with this new option, which will go onto sale around July 2024.

Built on their new Smart Car Platform, which is the Stellantis dedicated EV architecture, the new all-electric hatchback has already been winning awards at the best-in-class for comfort and being recognised for the technology and value for money.

The C3 EV will use the new Advanced Comfort Suspension, together with the Advanced Comfort Seats, which is based on a driver-focused approach to ride comfort and ergonomics.

Just because this is a cost-effective and affordable vehicle, why compromise on the experience? The technology is set to be robust with real-time and intuitive navigation, pre-conditioning and battery charging, HUD, multifunctional steering wheel and a 10.25” centre screen.

The e-C3 will be coming to the UK in two formats including:

  • PLUS – this will include a 10.25” centre screen, wireless smartphone mirroring, Apple CarPlay, Advanced Comfort Seats and Suspension, active land departure warning, cruise control, speed limit detection and hill start assist; and
  • MAX – this will add rear parking camera, air conditioning, LED rear lights, dark-tinted windows, heated steering wheel, heated fronts seats and real-time traffic awareness navigation plus the Connect Plus services.

Colours will include Polar White, Monte Carlo Blue, Mercury Grey, Perla Nera Black, Bright Blue, and Elixir Red, in addition to the two-tone roof and black wheel extensions.

But how will the new Citroen e-C3 perform?

As per the below, Citroen will offer the following battery:

  • This FWD SUV will have a 44.0 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 11 seconds, 84 mph top speeds and 83 kW (or 111hp). Expect a combined winter range of 135 miles with warmer weather allowing for 190 miles – a 165 mile combined. On charging, the 7.4 kW AC max will allow for 7 hour 0 – 100% charging times with the 100 kW DC maximum allowing 32 minute 10 – 80% times. A cargo volume of 310L is available with this car. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 152 mpg. You can tow with this EV – 550kg (Unbraked) and 550kg (Braked). It has no V2L or V2G capabilities (so far).

Ready to lease the new small EV from the e-car team?

The new option should launch on the website in July 2024, although customers can register their interest via the manufacturer Citroen website. As a credit-broker, not a funder or dealership, the team can assist with any personal, business leasing and salary sacrifice arrangement which you might have.

Simply send the ideal build and configuration to us if you have the perfect build in mind. Alternatively, price up the option on our website for an instant offer.

And of course, the e-C3 will be one of the cheapest EVs to lease in the UK with an anticipated starting price of around £22,000. But price alone should not be the only consideration, when moving into the electric lifestyle.
