Fiat 600 Car leasing
The biggest automobile producer in Italy, the Fiat group, are known for manufacturing vehicles with flair, finesse and design. Indeed, their small hatchback – the Fiat 500 – is the quintessential glamourous hatchback and an ideal “2nd car for the family” or the perfect option for first-time drivers.
But when Fiat merged with Chrysler (to form the FCA) and then further merged with the PSA Group to form Stellantis (in 2020), this niche brand suddenly had incredible access to economies of scale, design engineering and, most importantly, battery production. And while the brand launched their electric Fiat 500e in 2020, they have been surprisingly quiet until now (July 2023), when their latest innovation was announced – the Fiat 600e
While the “600” brand has historically been used by Fiat, this is now being reignited as a B-segment (or small) electric SUV. To be made alongside the Jeep Avenger EV, the new option from Fiat is promising to offer “+space, +comfort, +versatility, +features …”
The brand recognises that the style of the 500e is perhaps undermined by its battery limitations and impracticality for families or those with some load-carry capacity requirements. Some of the headlines include the striking catchy style, the front and rear LED lights, 18” alloy options, 8-ambient light colours, 64-combination interior, 360 degree protection, handsfree tailgate and Blind Spot Detection. So far, the models coming to the UK will include:
This FWD SUV will have a 50.8 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 9.0 seconds, 93 mph top speeds and 115 kW (or 154 hp). Expect a combined winter range of 160 miles with warmer weather allowing for 215 miles. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 5 hour and 30 min 0 – 100% charging times with the 100 kW DC maximum allowing 26 minute 10 – 80% times. A cargo volume of 360L is available with this 4.1m EV. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 151 mpg.
Moving from combustion to all-electric transport can be daunting for some customers with new technology, charging, range and performance. But our expert team will guide you through the process in a prescribed and concerted way. Of course, customers can review and build their preferred model on the Fiat website - before speaking to us.
