Leasing a Fiat Grande Panda Electric in the UK

With Citroen launching their new family affordable SUV, the e-C3 Aircross, their sister company Fiat (who are also part of the Stellantis group) have launched their equivalent version. The Grande Panda is the latest all-electric car from the Fiat engineers, with this supplementing the Fiat 500e and 600e options which are already on the market.

Many of our UK customers will be familiar with the “Panda” brand from the combustion days, with this being the epitome of value and cost-effectiveness. Blending this tradition with modernity, according to the Stellantis team, this is aiming to be the forerunner for UK families looking to go electric in 2025 and beyond.

With a length of just under 4 metres, the Panda EV will be able to house 5 people comfortably, while offering the unmistakable Italian design and allure. Specification is not going to be lacking with pixel LED headlights, upper glovebox, spacious centre console, 17” diamond cut alloys, 10.25” display, wireless charging, front parking sensors and rear view camera. As the website suggests, “everyday life, easier” with the new Grande Panda.

But what specifications can I order in the Panda?

So far two options have been confirmed including:

  •  Red; and
  •  La Prima.

But how does the electric Fiat SUV perform?

  •  this has a usable battery of 43.8 kWh which offers 83 kW (111hp), top speeds of 82 mph and 0 - 62 times of 11.0 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 135 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 185 miles (on a full charge) - combined overall at 160 miles. The 7.4kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 7 hours with the 100 kW DC enabling 10-80% in 32 minutes. It has a 148 mpg equivalent, 361L cargo volume and towing capacity of 550kg (Braked and Unbraked). There is no heat pump on this EV. Bidirectional charging has not been confirmed.

With prices expected to start at around £22,000, this new company SUV will be one of the cheapest BEVs in the UK. With Government pressure on manufacturers and dealerships to improve the volume of zero-emission vehicles being sold (22% in 2024 and 28% in 2025) there is an absolute necessity to have motoring solutions which both personal and business lease customer can afford.

The Panda is a direct solution to those assertions that all EVs are expensive, or at least more expensive than a petrol or diesel equivalent. To help all of our customers at e-car lease, our “living with your ...” analysis and our EVC™ is available on every deal which you review.

This isn’t just about the best deal; we want to be confident that you are aware of the real-world range, charging times (AC and DC), charging costs, charge solutions, performance and towing. We even set out EV tariffs, motor insurance and bidirectional charging too.
