Leasing a Maserati Grecale Estate Electric in the UK

Maserati + Electric is now a forging relationship, with the brand having already released their first option to the UK in the form of the  GranTurismo  in February 2024 . But to meet the demands of the UK’s car buying/leasing public, the brand has put together a 4x4 solution, which is where most of the activity seems to be. SUVs and crossovers are very much the most-popular for personal and business customers alike, with practicality and functionality high on the agenda. The Grecale Folgore (which means lightening) will be Maserati’s answer to this demand.

Pure Maserati Performance 100% electric propulsion … the all-electric SUV is engineered with Formula E solutions for lightening acceleration and performance-car agility. The brand have also recognised the importance of aerodynamics and battery efficiency within this construction too. As noted below, the battery has been designed with practicality in mind; some 250 miles combined on a full charge. And with 22kW AC and 150kW DC, effortless charging sessions are guaranteed.

In terms of specification, the brand assures “everyday exceptional” with a focus on comfort, finish and design. This includes coppery Rame Folgore shade and cutting-edge Italian finish. But technology will supplement this, with an intuitive cockpit and Intelligent Assistant to act as a digital concierge.

As highlighted in our specification overview, the key aspects include – aerodynamics and drag prioritisation on the building, new materials, intriguing colour schemes, digital applications and interfaces for a modern world, air spring suspension to prioritise ride comfort and vehicle response and comfort for passengers / driver recognised as a crucial aspect.

Starting from around £110,000, this electric SUV can be personalised at the Maserati website.

Choose between a litany of colours including the free Bianco Astro, the Grigio Lava or the Blu Intenso. Additional Fuoriserie colours include Blu Atmosfera and Rame Folgore. A selection of 19, 20 and 21 inch alloys can be included, all with aerodynamics in mind. Inside, utilise one of three main colours – Nero, Rosso and the Econyl Nero. Update your trim to high gloss piano, Radica wood or 3D carbon. Vary your brake calipers, with yellow, red and copper all allowable.

A whole host of packages are available on the Grecale including:

  •  Travel Pack – 230V power outlet, aluminium cargo sill and cargo rail.
  •  ADAS Package Level 2 –driving assist, traffic sign recognition, collision assist; and
  • Tech Assistance Package – HUD, kick sensor and IR protection windscreen.

Or consider options like rear privacy glass, panoramic sunroof, trailer tow hitch, Sonus faber high premium sound and heated steering wheel. By the time you have configured your perfect SUV, expect a price of around £130,000 - £150,000.

This AWD SUV will have a 95 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 4.1 seconds, 137 mph top speeds and 410kW (or 550hp). Expect a combined winter range of 215 miles with warmer weather allowing for 280 miles – a 250 mile combined.

On charging, the 22 kW AC max will allow 5 hour and 15 min 0 – 100% charging times with the 150 kW DC maximum allowing 38 minute 10 – 80% times. A cargo volume of 535L is available with this car. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 106 mpg. You cannot tow with this EV. It also has no V2L or V2G capabilities (so far).

How much is a Maserati Grecale Electric to lease?
With a basic model just over £110,000 expect leasing deals to be around £900 - £1500 per month, mileage, term and initial rental / deposit dependent. With incredible tax benefits on an electric Maserati for a limited company, this is still an attractive solution for those customers looking at luxury cars.

Is a Maserati Grecale Electric a good car to lease?
The new EV from the Italian car makers will build upon a solid review of the combustion alternatives. With 7.5/10 from Car and Driver, 7/10 from Top Gear and 3.5/5 by Autocar, the existing platform is known for fast steering, nicely finished cabin and a great ride. With the addition of the lithium batteries, it is hoped that the increased performance and response will only lead to more positive reviews

Is a Maserati Grecale Electric lease right for me or the business?
The benefits of going electric with the Maserati SUV are fairly clear and there is no doubt that this will be luxurious with added performance. Moving into zero-emission is a must for any businesses with tax efficient and green motoring on the agenda. But for consumers and retail customers, there are still some incredible Whole of Life elements. Use our “living with your …” guides to appreciate all the running costs, charging speed and charging times plus our EVC™ to ensure this EV is perfect for you.

Where do I find the best Maserati Grecale Electric lease deals in the UK?
We do encourage our customers to visit our best electric car deals section at  but do also consider our price comparison partners like CarWow, Leasing.Com and LeaseLoco. For a more dedicated experience visit your local Maserati retailer to get a PCP or HP quotation. You may need to decide on purchase v lease.

What is the cheapest Maserati Grecale Electric leasing option?
At the time of writing (March 2024) there is only a 410kW Folgore 105kWh 5dr Auto available.

What is the range of a Maserati Grecale Electric?
At e-car lease we do not utilise the WLTP range of an EV to help you understand the lifestyle. Many of the range metrics are based on standardised laboratory testing which has little to no application in the real world. With the Grecale Folgore this will offer a range (on a full charge) of 180 miles on a motorway in colder weather, with this increasing to 255 miles for urban and city driving. In warmer weather, this increases to 225 miles on a motorway and 360 miles in city driving.
