Lease a Mini Aceman Electric in the UK

The all-new (and first-ever) Mini Aceman is now live; a small stylish SUV from the German automotive team, which is aiming to bring yet another palatable vehicle choice for the EV market. “NEW ERA. NEW LOOK” the Aceman will present a bigger option for those reviewing the traditional Mini hatchback yet this will be smaller than the Countryman.

In summary, a compact crossover with a focus on space creativity but without the physical footprint of a bigger SUV/4x4 option!

The push to all-electric by Mini in the UK is not surprising, with their Plant Oxford already confirmed to be receiving a £600 million investment in order to produce at least two EV options by the end of 2026 (including the new Aceman). And by 2030, the manufacturing plants in Oxford and Swindon will only produce electric vehicles.

And it’s good to see that the brand is concentrating on more affordable and practical options, which both personal and business leasing customer can enjoy. For the UK to move towards a 2035 Net-Zero, the automotive industry must have a litany of practical solutions.
And the Aceman is aiming to be the family vehicle of choice, 5 doors, raised wheelbase, versatile load carrying (300 litres with the seats up and up to 1,000 litres with the seats down). Charismatic simplicity is at the heart of the product, aiming to create a more frugal and stoic impression, with the geometric wheel arches and horizontal designs.

But there are some nice touches with the LED headlights, circular OLED display, ambient lighting, MINI modes and optional JCW trims. Other tech options include the steering and lane assistant, trailer assistant, 12 ultrasonic sensors and rear view camera. A new Remote Parking function with the Parking Assistant Pro enables a smartphone to manually park the EV for you. An optional mini Digital Key Plus allows the smartphone to operate the vehicle too.

And plenty of specification options can be utilised including:

  •  Classic
  •  Exclusive; and
  •  Sport

Plus, two battery options including:

Aceman E - The FWD SUV option will have a 38.5 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 7.9 seconds, 99 mph top speeds and 135 kW (or 181hp). Expect a cold weather range of around 120 miles with warmer weather allowing for 165 miles – a combined range of around 145 miles on a full charge. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 4 hour and 15 min 0 – 100% charging times with the 75 kW DC maximum allowing 26 minute 10 – 80% times. This has fuel equivalent of 152 mpg. A cargo volume of 300L is available with this car (or 1005L with the seats down). This will have no Bidirectional charging capabilities. Nor can it tow; and

Aceman SE -  The FWD SUV option will have a 49.8 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 7.1 seconds, 106 mph top speeds and 160 kW (or 215hp). Expect a cold weather range of around 155 miles with warmer weather allowing for 210 miles – a combined range of around 185 miles on a full charge. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 5 hour and 30 min 0 – 100% charging times with the 95 kW DC maximum allowing 29 minute 10 – 80% times. This has fuel equivalent of 150 mpg. A cargo volume of 300L is available with this car (or 1005L with the seats down). This will have no Bidirectional charging capabilities. Nor can it tow.
