Lease a Vauxhall Grandland in the UK

Will there be an electric Vauxhall Grandland?

Until September 2024, this was not a certainty, with only the sister-company Peugeot confirming the all-electric 3008 SUV early in the year. But one of the UK’s favourite brands is now bringing its own version shortly after confirming a cost-effective Frontera will be featuring later this year. Described as “bold”, the Stellantis subsidiary will bring a premium SUV to market to compete with the likes of the VW ID4, Nissan Ariya and the Mini Countryman SE ALL4.

So far three trims have been confirmed including:

  •  Design – from £40,195 this will include 19” Grey Alloys, ECO LED headlights, standard 3D vizor, 10” infotainment with wireless Apple Car Play, climate control, Bird cloth fabric, adaptive cruise control, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors and heat pump;
  • GS – from £43,145 this will include 19” diamond cut Alloys, Intelli Lux HD lights (pixel), illuminated 3D vizor, 16” multimedia with navigation, OTA updated, Chat GPT, heated steering wheel, storage pockets for passengers, lumbar adjustment for passenger, 10-way manual heated seats, 360 degree camera and smartphone pocket; and
  • Ultimate - from £45,195 this will include 20” diamond cut alloys, power tailgate (hands-free), Nappa Leather (for an extra £1300).

Colours include Arctic White, Impact Copper, Carbon Black, Crystal Silver, Spectrum Blue and Graphic Grey. On the GS and Ultimate, you get a contrast black roof.

For more information on building the perfect Grandland EV just head to the  Vauxhall  website and send the confirmed configuration to our team. Vauxhall do offer an 8-year battery warranty and 3 year roadside assistance with their new SUV.

But how will the new Grandland electric perform?

There will be one battery configuration at first:

  • The FWD SUV will have a 73 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 8.7 seconds, 106 mph top speeds and 157 kW (or 211hp). Expect a combined winter range of 200 miles with warmer weather allowing for 265 miles - a combined 235 mile range. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 8 hour 0 – 100% charging times with the 160 kW DC maximum allowing 36 minute 10 – 80% times. A cargo volume of 550L is available with this car. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 130 mpg. This model can tow 1250kg (braked). This EV will have Bidirectional charging, with a V2L which has an exterior 3.6 kW AC Type 2 adapter.

While the Grandland may be the perfect car for you, or the business, we do always recommend that a customer does take the time to follow the expert advice set out on our website. Every car will perform differently in terms of the range, charging times, speed and Bidirectional capabilities.

Our website is different to the information available with other leasing brokers and finance companies, in particular our “living with your…” and our unique EVC™ which answer the key questions. From range to charging times to charging costs to running costs to company car tax, all these facets are set out for your review. Having supplied over 2,500 electric cars, our team are well versed in this industry and can easily manage you or your company car fleet.
